On the inclusion of plastic material behavior within the thermodynamic topology optimization

Accounting for the real material behavior in topology optimization is essential since it determines final optimal structure. For considering a plastic behavior, we propose surrogate plasticity model within thermodynamic to handle this complex resource-efficient manner. We physically correct strains analogously classic models but without path-dependence and hysteresis during course of optimization. This verified by comparison elasto-plastic models. To demonstrate necessity accounting realistic model, present results where structural changes due deformations become apparent.
